Hit the Delete Key…Now! 11.7.15 Our enemy never takes our decisions to win seriously, so keep deleting his tactics.

We come to crossroads in our life many times. We make choices and decisions that reflect our seriousness about never going back to whatever-some habit, a longing, a distorted way at looking at life or a change in our thinking.

Has your experience been one in which you have seen the enemy throw up his hands and surrender realizing we really mean it this time? It appears to me that the enemy often quietly slips away making us think he has lost when all the while he believes there will always be a time he can return and we will be vulnerable because we thought we won and that was that.

Matthew 4:11 gives insight into how our enemy works. He left Jesus but as we know he was anyway but finished challenging Jesus. 1 Peter 5:8 says in the Message “…he would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up.” We may have resolved it but that means nothing to the enemy of our soul.

WHAT THIS MEANS: Take a long look at 2 Corinthians 10:5. What have you resolved regarding our culture’s magnetic pull or the clever thinking many use to try to take Jesus out of our vocabulary?
